Bad poetry and graveyard picnics.

Okay my poetry is not bad. I'm not saying that as a general defense either.Most people who hear my poetry (or read it) think it's very good. Most of mine isn't on the internet it's in notebooks. But i found two on my facebook that are relatively good. One's about me be a stalker in anime club (but not as creepy as another one i have in the blue rsnn.)

Yeah. Graveyard picnics are one of my favorite things to do. Just walk through gaveyards. Sit and talk to them. Especially Elias. You guys probably don't know Elias so refer to this picture. For christmas one year my dad got a nightmare before christmas throw blanket. I use it for my picnic adventures. I used to have a real picnic basket until i lost it. Now i use a suitcase my grandma used to use. Until she died then when we were cleaning out her house i fished it out of the dumpster. I use it for vacations too. Like even on a plane. 

Day 3 – When did you come out the Goth closet?

I never flat out told my family that i was a goth. During the summer with my cousins when we were playing apples to apples in their camper this girl (who i'm not sure how she's related to me.) asked me if i was a goth. I said yes to that. It was really weird because i don't bring much black clothes down to south carolina in July. At that moment i was wearing a bright green writers block shirt from highschool, and these pjs with yellow ducks on them. (with a baby blue background and bubbles.) (fear my gothiness!) So it was more of a random question then anything.

I've decided to keep the giveaway open until March 1st. Then i'll pick a winner.

Hi guys sorry for being so dead around here. Well i'm here to supply you with some lovely pictures. The giveaway things! Yay! It was a hard descision to find things you guys might like because i don't really know any of you. I hope you like them.

On thursday i went around collecting bottles so nothing fancy.

Les mis cast shirt from highschool, and some baby pink pants. oh yeah.

The next day i went down to the highschool to collect more bottles and this was what i wore to the bottle return place. People were surprised that i looked so normal but i don't want to get bottle/can ick on my clothes.

Then today i went to the mall, because my mom said she would drive me. I got all dressed up in Wonder cookie. I've worn it a lot since i've bought it, but heres actual proof i own it.

Now for the part all of you care about. It took me a long time to find good things. The bittersweet theme was actually much harder then i thought. It would've been easier for full on goth, or classical lolita. Whatever i found these things.

Umm i'm not sure if/how many pictures i have. I don't have any pictures of my real babybat days because i didn't own a camera. I didn't own a camera until i was a Junior and got xavier. I'm not sure if any actually got onto the internet.

Day 1-How'd you discover the subculture

Hi guys while i search for/buy the giveaway i'm going to start the 30 day goth challenge. It's been a while since i did one. Some of the days have very short answers (a two lettered word containing the letters n and o) i'll just combine those days. This day is how did i discover the subculture.

When i was a small child walking around the mall with my mom, i saw two maybe mall goths maybe real goths. I pointed at them and told my mom i was scared of them. My mom comforted me saying how they were just people and there was no need to be afraid. A while later when i was in 4th grade (2003), i was looking through those pixel doll sites, when i saw the beautifully gothic dolls. (a medieval goth look.) I was talking to one of my friends on aim about becoming goth and she said they were weird, but i didn't think so. A very long time later when i was a Junior in highschool i was starting to actually look goth, with my slowly growing black wardrobe and bad babybat makeup. The makeup wasn't that bad as i remember but i don't have a very good memory. No black lipstick though. In the gaps it was completely ignored. It took a while but i finally got into it.

The lonely Goth

Hello everyone. I hope you had a fantastic holiday. I've lived my entire life without ever seeing a real life goth before. My highschool was filled with jocks, preps, 'normal' kids, emos, and me. My town is relatively small and really rich. The neighboring towns are definitely less rich than us. According to the internet there is one goth club in a nearby city. I think it got converted into some other mainstream club though. The Lady of the manners suggests you join a mailing list. I've searched this as well but it doesn't exsist anymore as it was run off geocities. As small as my town is they're rather indifferent. I've gotten many stupid comments and only a few things thrown at me. Most of the time no one says anything.  Alright i'll stop moping and give you some tips on how to survive in such places.

• Plan many picnics in your local cemeteries. 
• Take lots of pictures or rubbings of some favorite gravestones
• Buy (or find) candles place them in your room and sit/read/craft/write by the candlelight
• Get posters of your favorite bands or find pretty pictures put them in frames or hang them up
• Find fabric, or clothes, in a thrift store cut them up and drape them over things
• Get all the books you like sit around and read them.
• Get all your favorite music and blast it (or not i'm not a fan of blasting music.) 
• When halloween comes around go to the stores and buy up all the decorations. Decorate your room/house to your little black hearts content!

I know theres a few cliches in there but i love them. I hope you have a lovely new year and a lovely winter!

How to cheer up a bad day!

I don't get bad days that often but when i do it's like death. So i do some things that cheer me up. Heres a few cute ideas to get you in a better mood!

♥ Get dressed up in your favorite outfit. 

♥ Go anywhere to show off how good you look

♥ Go to the dollar store or toy store and buy a crown wear it proclaiming you're a prince/ss.

♥ Eat your favorite food

♥ Go on a walk

♥ Go to a tea shop and order your favorite tea 

♥ Go shopping! (You don't have to spend money.)

♥ Listen to your favorite music loudly.

♥Go to the gym. Endorphins are good for you.

♥ Read a book of your favorite poems or a book by your favorite author.

♥ Make any kind of sweets and enjoy them.

♥ Go to bath and body works (or any similar store) and find a favorite fragrance. (buy it if you can.)

Day 27 – One song that fits your favorite lolita style.

I love this song. The dreariness of it makes me feel so quiet. Taken by the perfect piano and the slurry nature of the words. This just makes you listen to the song. Sit in a corner with this song in the dark (or candlelight) and it's just that much more beautiful.

This in my opinion is a perfect gothic lolita song. For dreary stormy days. Winter evenings, or foggy overcast summer days. (These are my favorite types of days fog is so mysterious and misty weather is perfect when it's hot-not muggy-out.) 

Here are the lyrics. I think it's about a breakup, and you know how artistic those songs can get.

Day 24 – A picture of you from a meet.

This is a picture from last sunday. I went to a brunch at my friends apartment. We took more pictures but this one was on my xavier so i'll just have to wait to see the others.

Everything is offbrand and from thrift stores. So here are some other pictures from the meet so this post isn't so boring.

November theme- Gloves!

Hello it's time for another montly theme post! I have meant to post more but i kept forgetting and then it was past the 1st. So heres my pictures for november of my gloves.

Happy halloween everyone! The best time of the year! Except not really cause i don't like winter. So after my post about alice. I thought up a really cool idea for just walking around (as i have been known to do) or as a cosplay next year.

Yeah...It will be awesome. Mostly depending on how much money i have next year or in the next few months.  Since i so don't give you guys enough eye candy here is how i am planning it.

While this might be stretching the interpretation of the character a bit far, i still like it. It has the cuteness of lolita with the sexiness of cyber goth. So i'll have to see how things go. I'll probably end up just walking around in this because i can. 

Happy Mischief Night!

Hello everyone! Happy mischief night! The night before Halloween! I Thought i'd give you a quick break from the challenge. While it's getting a bit late to get things from the stores (around here most already have christmas things up! Can you imagine? Christmas!) it's never late enough to goth up your surroundings.

So here are some cute and silly things to make every day halloween. (To the fairy kei's/sweet lolitas following i'll give you a post too. It's just close to halloween right now.)

Here are some bat tights for being awesome. I don't know why you'd wear these except for the pure awesome factor.

Bats you can stick on your walls are always popular. A sign for your door is also a cute choice, no matter the season.

Or if you are wanting to look good on halloween or anytime this dress is a good choice. It would look so marvelous with ripped green and black layed fishnets. Some green and black cyber falls and the most awesome make up job ever done. Or some ass kicking boots.I would be all over this dress except it's strapless and i don't have any money.

Heres another sign to go with those bats. Maybe a a vial of blood for when you get thirsty. A blood dripped mug for when you can't be bothered to clean a cup after your last drink.

If you are especially proud of someone special you've killed, why not show off one of their windows to the soul?

I didn't find much for werewolves. Except for a few cute things. Pretty much everything else was about twilight.

Perhaps you could put this up in your bathroom. Pyscho killers always go for the bathrooms. I would totally buy this but i think i would end up burning it for fear of pyscho killers or anything else.

I didn't forget about the people just trying to throw a party and don't want to live it.

Of course these would look cute at any time of year. I totally want these nothing is cuter then those.

Alright i think i might have gone a bit overboard with that. I hope you enjoy you enjoy halloween! 

Day 18 – A picture of your favorite lolita style.

Gothic lolita of course! I tried to find a picture of bittersweet lolita but i couldn't. So the next best thing is gothic lolita! I love sweet prints but don't really like the pastel puke colors so i prefer black colorways.

shoes: big shoe store. They're Guess shoes and i didn't realize until i got back to my room. I feel like i'm now part of an elite club or something. 

I got my fan plus friend petticoat today in the mail. So i will do a little review of it.

I ordered it on october 3rd. It was during a sale. The petticoat i ordered was this one in black. It was a holiday so no orders would be looked at until october 5th. According to paypal my money (62 dollars with shipping.) was transfered to them on october 6th. They sent me an email that said the order was received as soon as i placed my order.  I was started to get worried about it showing up but it came.

 It came in a bag. It doesn't say when it was shipped but i don't really care.

 It was inside another plastic bag. Incase of damage. Which thankfully there was no damage on any part of the package.

 It was turned inside out to preserve fluffiness. I smelled it and had no strange odors. (The odor i was smelling i think was my room so that doesn't count.)

 The dress without the petticoat. It does have a small layer of tulle underneath because it's just a dress and not a lolita dress.

 The dress with the petticoat. It was so fluffy i felt like a princess cupcake. I went skipping through my dorm buildings hallways and it was so awesome. I love the feeling of it! It's very soft and comfy to wear.

 The tag. I love the engrish tagline of 'The unique you in the whole world.' it's just so cute!

Overall i would buy from them. I do love some of their clothes so i would do business with them. I wish they would've sent me an email when they shipped it. It's the tiniest bit tight but it's bearable. There are no loose threads, funny smells, or construction flaws. It was made of organza with a layer of hard tulle between. It was lined and fully shirred.
