Bad poetry and graveyard picnics.

Okay my poetry is not bad. I'm not saying that as a general defense either.Most people who hear my poetry (or read it) think it's very good. Most of mine isn't on the internet it's in notebooks. But i found two on my facebook that are relatively good. One's about me be a stalker in anime club (but not as creepy as another one i have in the blue rsnn.)

Yeah. Graveyard picnics are one of my favorite things to do. Just walk through gaveyards. Sit and talk to them. Especially Elias. You guys probably don't know Elias so refer to this picture. For christmas one year my dad got a nightmare before christmas throw blanket. I use it for my picnic adventures. I used to have a real picnic basket until i lost it. Now i use a suitcase my grandma used to use. Until she died then when we were cleaning out her house i fished it out of the dumpster. I use it for vacations too. Like even on a plane. 

Day 3 – When did you come out the Goth closet?

I never flat out told my family that i was a goth. During the summer with my cousins when we were playing apples to apples in their camper this girl (who i'm not sure how she's related to me.) asked me if i was a goth. I said yes to that. It was really weird because i don't bring much black clothes down to south carolina in July. At that moment i was wearing a bright green writers block shirt from highschool, and these pjs with yellow ducks on them. (with a baby blue background and bubbles.) (fear my gothiness!) So it was more of a random question then anything.

I've decided to keep the giveaway open until March 1st. Then i'll pick a winner.

Day 2 – Share photos and experiences from your Baby Bat days.

Umm i'm not sure if/how many pictures i have. I don't have any pictures of my real babybat days because i didn't own a camera. I didn't own a camera until i was a Junior and got xavier. I'm not sure if any actually got onto the internet.

The all night grad party we had. I was wearing something more goth at graduation (which you could totally see under my white robe.) but since i was going to be there until 4 am (you literally could not leave until then.) i decided to be comfy. That's one of my friends aren't i attentive?

Day 1-How'd you discover the subculture

Hi guys while i search for/buy the giveaway i'm going to start the 30 day goth challenge. It's been a while since i did one. Some of the days have very short answers (a two lettered word containing the letters n and o) i'll just combine those days. This day is how did i discover the subculture.

When i was a small child walking around the mall with my mom, i saw two maybe mall goths maybe real goths. I pointed at them and told my mom i was scared of them. My mom comforted me saying how they were just people and there was no need to be afraid. A while later when i was in 4th grade (2003), i was looking through those pixel doll sites, when i saw the beautifully gothic dolls. (a medieval goth look.) I was talking to one of my friends on aim about becoming goth and she said they were weird, but i didn't think so. A very long time later when i was a Junior in highschool i was starting to actually look goth, with my slowly growing black wardrobe and bad babybat makeup. The makeup wasn't that bad as i remember but i don't have a very good memory. No black lipstick though. In the gaps it was completely ignored. It took a while but i finally got into it. 

Day 29 & 30 Completed lolita challenge!

Day 30 – A photo of yourself taken today and 3 good things that’s happened over the last 30

days.

I've been trying to get into fairy kei for a while now. So heres my outfit for today.

Now for three good things.

1: I went to my second lolita meetup and met two more ct lolis i didn't know before. It was loads of fun.

2: I got my first petticoat! I also posted my outfit to daily_lolita and got compliments instead of flames.

3: I started to exercise to fit into the ap moon night theater JSK, and i'm already seeing results! Yay for healthy living!

Day 28 – A picture of the perfect lolita location.

This picture is from the backyard of two abandoned (at the time not anymore.) houses. This table i found in the back of the house that ended up not getting torn down. They were selling both houses for half a million dollars but i'm not sure what the final price was. Someone bought both houses and tore one down and is currently fixing the other one up. It was December 2010 and was absolutely freezing out. (There wasn't really any snow until January when the state and bunch of other states got hit with six feet of snow.

Anyways i chose this picture because it looks so dreary and beautiful. While not a sweet lolita tea party spot. Definitely a class or gothic spot.  I love decaying things they are so beautiful! I can just imagine what kind of stories those houses had to tell. You could have a lovely tea party here. Find some lovely matching (or mismatching) chairs, silver teapot, and decadently designed teacups. Just amazing.

Day 27 – One song that fits your favorite lolita style.

She and her darkness by Diary of dreams

I love this song. The dreariness of it makes me feel so quiet. Taken by the perfect piano and the slurry nature of the words. This just makes you listen to the song. Sit in a corner with this song in the dark (or candlelight) and it's just that much more beautiful.

This in my opinion is a perfect gothic lolita song. For dreary stormy days. Winter evenings, or foggy overcast summer days. (These are my favorite types of days fog is so mysterious and misty weather is perfect when it's hot-not muggy-out.)

Day 26 – Your Facebook profile picture.

Oh dear. This one will be quite silly. Actually the one i have now isn't that bad. It's just me being generally the derp queen that i am.

I had changed it about one or two weeks again. Julie (The lovely turtwig pokedoll on my shoulder.) sits up on my bed so i grabbed her for a quick picture. Before this i took a picture a similar picture of Julie on my head for my friend.

I didn't intend to make it so 'cuddly adorable and lovable.' I was just looking down at her while holding her up with my hair. I still had my hair up and my necklace is this is the least amount of dress you've seen me in! 

Day 25 – Your favorite lolita themed artwork.

I actually had to go looking for cute art because i never go looking for it. I had found a cute little 9 part 'Lolita Stereotypes' art. This one is my favorite about lifestyle lolitas.

I like this because i am half a lifestyler. I loved tea way before i ever knew about lolita. I love girly little crafts. I love picnics and gardens pretty flowers. I love antique furniture and candles. Most of which i loved a long time ago but continued to love when i realized they fit well. I love to write letters as well.

The art is just adorable and strangely accurate. If you do meet a non crazy lolita you must tell me. Since all the ct lolis are absolutely insane. That's why they are awesome. But there are most likely the really hardcore lifestylers who freak everyone else out. Which is where i got numbers nine through eleven of my 'how to be a real lolita' post.

Day 24 – A picture of you from a meet.

This is a picture from last sunday. I went to a brunch at my friends apartment. We took more pictures but this one was on my xavier so i'll just have to wait to see the others.

Everything is offbrand and from thrift stores. So here are some other pictures from the meet so this post isn't so boring.

Day 23 – A picture of your handwriting.

Aha! This is a perfect day for showing you why i am awesomely cautious! When i was fourth grade i was sitting at my desk and this girl (Who happened to have the name Callie and was convinced she was born in a palm tree.) had a broken right wrist and the teacher commented on how well her handwriting was with her left hand.
Me being the attention starved child i was thought that if i taught my left hand how to write then i could get a compliment from the teacher as well. (I feel bad using the word 'attention starved' as that wasn't exactly the right word but that was the only word i could think of to use.) I told everyone i know that i was doing it incase i ever break my right hand. You guys are pretty much the first people to know the actual reason behind my shallow fourth grader adventures.

Then i did. I have been teaching my left hand how to write since 4th grade. This october 11th i perfected it. It took me seven years but i did it. To the credit of my left hand during those seven years there are a few time spans of months where i thought it was a dumb idea and stopped. So i could give you a few more paragraphs of explanation but i'll spare you guys. I decided to write lyrics down of my two favorite songs.

Day 22 – A picture of your room.

Hello guys! I know i haven't posted in a long time. I went to a halloween party on october 28th, then went to a wedding in the morning. (since it was 1 or 2 am when i got back.) Then went to a brunchy type thing went home FREAKY SNOW STORM WHAT THE FUCK IN OCTOBER KNOCKED OUT POWER FOR A WEEK! Chilled at my dads house cause he had a generator so we had more power then everyone else but not that much. I had a lovely meetup with the ct lolis today at one of their houses. ^.^ I'll stop giving you excuses and my life story and get on with the post.

Day 21 – Your favorite fictional lolita.

Why Alice from alice in wonderland. Okay i know she's not really a lolita but she has influenced the style a lot. (In the case of alice in the pirates an entire brand!) Yes i have read the book and it just as cute. While it was written for the nerdiest reason possible. I still love it, it even enhances the story. For me atleast.

Alice is cute and possibly has the cutest art ever.

If you're wondering why i didn't choose Momoko from Kamikaze girls the reason is simple. I have seen that movie twice and i didn't really care about it. Other then the 'holy fuck is Japan weird.' intital reaction i don't get why so many lolis love this movie. Is it because it's about lolita? It has a badass loli in it? I don't get it. It was an okay movie and i keep watching it to see if it'll get better the more i see it. So since i don't really like that movie i wasn't going to choose her.

Day 19 – What’s in your make-up bag?

So remember day 10 where i showed you all what's in my bag? Well here is the post that shows you the make up i carry around.

Gothic lolita of course! I tried to find a picture of bittersweet lolita but i couldn't. So the next best thing is gothic lolita! I love sweet prints but don't really like the pastel puke colors so i prefer black colorways. 

Day 17 – What do you want more then anything right now?

Some cyberlox falls. I have wanted these since i knew of their existence. Specifically in these colors.

It will just be awesome because i will get something blue and make a cyber lolita coord out of it. Even if it isn't really a style i still love it. Sorry for all these short posts lately good news is that i'm almost done with this yay!

So i bought this petticoat in black on october 3rd and it still hasn't arrived so heres a stock picture. Just so this isn't such a quick and boring post heres a picture of a pair of shoes i plan on wearing with lolita.

I had bought these from hot topic and yes they are shiny. Fear my rebelion loli gods!

Day 13 – A picture of your favorite sweets.

I love caramel so much it's the most delicious thing ever. Put in/on anything and it will be awesome. It's just awesome.
