Hello guys i know i haven't posted in a while but my school is really busy. Maybe for the fact of our midterms have just passed and no one noticed. I certainly didn't notice it's only October. Our midterms in highschool aren't even until the end of January. Anyways i'll give you a fancy nice post later.

Gothed up tuesday

Hello everyone. What's this two posts in one day? Oh i'm such a rebel. Today i have named 'Gothed up tuesday' this day is where i get dressed up as high as i can.

Why? Today i have my three hour English class from six to nine. It wouldn't be that bad cause i really like English  except for the teacher is absolutely crazy, it's three hours long, and it's all about writing expository essays. Not even essays paragraphs. I could go on and on about the class but i won't. So i plan on dressing up as much as i can so i can feel pretty and happy even if the things i have to do are terrible.

So heres a silly webcam photo of part of my outfit. I'll give you a full picture when i get back from class.

I felt like i was in a circus so i wish i had a top hat but oh well. I had like four bows on my head. ^.^

I also had this little kid point out to his mom 'ooh look at that girl!' all happy and squeaky. It was cute. Then again i had a parent of a different little kid walk past me while waiting for the van to show up that said 'go cut yourself.'

Well damn i didn't know my wrong ways until you said that soul crushingly depressing statement. Maybe i will next time okay? (No i won't, i just like to act like I've never heard such comments before when i have a million and one times.)

A post of everything

Hey everyone. I wanted a more gothic look to the blog. I'm more of a bittersweet lolita anyways. Even if the term isn't used very often i think it suits me perfectly. I had gotten the teacup image from this flickr account.

Another thing that i am quite proud of starting is my bottle/can skirt project. I had done this as a math project last  year. I collect bottle and cans and use that money to buy a skirt. This time i'm going to buy a replica of my deer (pun so intended) Lotta print skirt. I don't give a damn about replicas and whatnot Oo Jia can make this skirt for seventy five dollars plus shipping. While a lolita quoted this dress was five hundred dollars!  I'm a poor college kid over here. (I don't give a damn about not complaining and how lolita is expensive.)

I was just going to settle for the blue colorway since i was going to buy it. Now that i'm getting it in replica form i'm going to ask for it be black. I imagine it will be more like angelic pretty's sheep garden in black. Where all the blue is replaced by black. This will be 1,500 bottles and cans. While the original figure was 25 a day for 30 days back in highschool, i don't think i'll make that here. I did frequently pass that mark when collecting though. So i'm just going for collecting whatever i find. I'll have it soon enough.

On a holy shit how adorable note. We have these teacup candles from design sponge. You can get teacups for rather cheap at goodwill. (or thrift stores if you don't have goodwills.) Most of the time they sell for a dollar or fifty cents. Candles aren't allowed at my school so i can't show you my favorite way to light the way. I am a huge fan of candles and teacups so teacup candles are perfect! (Even more perfect if the candles are black. Oh yes a very good idea indeed.)

Also i was infected with the cleaning/organzing/and decorating bug today. So i'll have to post pictures of my new gothed up (as much as i could get it with what i had.) side of my room.

I don't have a pair of shoes or a shirt because i already own those. But this is what i want to wear so badly. I'll have to get a job before this can materialize. 

In good news i ordered this petticoat a while ago. I'll be a real lolita. (Well more of one since i'll be able to get the shape now.) Yay! I'll post pictures when i get it. 

How to be a real lolita.

So i got this idea from reading all sorts of drama off getoffegl, and loli-secrets. Why not take all those rules and exaggerate them to hell and back? This is for fun and giggles not to be taken seriously. In my opinion EGL needs to stand back and laugh at itself more often. They take everything too seriously.

1: Wear a petticoat all the time. If you don't have the cupcake shape. Don't bother leaving the house.
2: Do your make up. Do not get raccoon eyes. Do not use bold lipstick colors you are not Mana.
3: Use a shit ton of foundation/cover up. Dolls have perfect skin. Cover up your flaws if you have them. (Even if you don't still use some.)
4: Wear a blouse all the time. Short sleeved blouses are good with skirts and JSKs. (if it's winter use long sleeved blouses both for jsks and ops.)) Buy separate short sleeved and long sleeved blouses. Detachable sleeves are for ITAs.
5: Wear socks or tights. Do not ever wear shoes without socks.
6: Do your hair. If your hair isn't pretty enough buy a wig and wear it. But don't wear it badly everyone can tell a shit wig from a good wig.
7: Wear a hair bow. Or a bonnet. Or a hat. Anything at all.
8: Wear necklaces, rings, and bracelets.
9: Only eat and drink lolita approved food and drinks.
10: Only have lolita friends.
11: Only have hobbies that are approved for lolitas by lolitas.
12: Never ever curse, raise your voice, insult anyone, or hit anyone. Ever. Those are things that ladies don't do.
13: When you see another lolita if she's fatter then you (doesn't matter by how much) call her a 'fattychan'
14: If you see someone who's dressed better or worse then you call her an 'ita', or assume she's wearing a replica and supports those. If you see cosplay lolitas (that aren't trying to be lolita.) go up to them and lecture them on the real lolita and how to do it right, and why they suck at it.
15: Never buy from replica shops.
16: Never buy from Anna house, Bodyline, or Fan plus Friend. If you aren't spending all your money on brand you're doing it wrong.
17: Hire a maid because princesses don't do work.
18: The most important one is to Always be nice. No matter what. Don't ever say anything mean to anyone ever.

Follow these simple steps and very soon you'll be a real lolita! 

Day 10 – What’s in your bag?

Oh yay! A picture post! Also it's day 10 i thought i'd never get here! 1/3 the way done!

Day 9 – 10 things you will never do in lolita.

Hmm ten things i will never do in lolita? I'll have to think about that.

1: Hiking. While i love to hike high heels, dainty socks, and expensive clothes don't go well with mud, water, leaves, and dirt.

2: Camping. Pretty much the same as above. If i did bring my lolita clothes (one outfit) i would save it for 'going out to eat' type of day.

3: Swimming. Lolzs what? Who's bright idea was this?

4: Doing any kind of messy painting or messy crafts. Just not a good idea.

5: Baking. Atleast without an apron.

6: Going to a bonfire or sitting around a campfire. Does this need explanation? Fire doesn't go well with most things anyways.

7: Going to the beach. Salt water, sand, mud, and dirt. Yeah not a good idea.

8: Eating ribs. Have you ever eaten ribs before? Unless you want to be super careful not a good idea.

9: Cleaning. Harsh chemicals probably don't mix very well with your favorite dress or skirt.

10: Gardening. While i know this is a very lolita thing to do, i don't want to sit down in the dirt getting all dirty and whatnot with my favorite dress on. (i don't mind the other parts of it i just don't want to get my dress dirty.)

I love doing all of these things. Just not in lolita. (well maybe i don't love cleaning.) I'm going to have to work for my clothes and i don't want to throw them away for some silly stain.

These are people who inspire my style as a lolita. But i'm going to cheat and also do people who inspire my goth style as well. Cause i can and i really don't lurk daily lolita so i don't really have anyone i love.

New teacup!

This will be a short post as i am very busy in college. I'll give you something of substance later because i realize these posts are rather attention whore-y. But for now you get to to adore my new teacup (and a mug) that i bought from goodwill today. I broke my last teacup on the floor of the kitchen.

Yesturday my roomates dragged me to the mall again. (which turned out to be a bad idea cause one of my roomates boyfriend just made fun of the me the entire time. But he's a different and long story.) So heres what i wore.

fHi everyone on friday i went to the mall and this is what i got/wore.

 shirt from forever 21. Eyelashes from forever 21. Tights from forever 21. Which i wore today and found a hole in the side of one of the legs. I only cared for a second because ripped fishnets are a goth staple. Brain age is from the gamestop.

 I've found a new love in gyaru, and i've mostly left lolita. I still love the dresses and will continue to wear it. I'm just not in any comms anymore.

 The sad thing is that i owned brain age when it first came out and i lost the actual game to it. So now i've got two brain age boxes. But i was so happy to find it so cheap. I clutched it in my hand while i tried to find the exit.

I had gotten lost you see. The van gives you a time and you're supposed to be at that spot at that time (whatever place they dropped you off in and whatever time he said.) so he can drive you back to school. I found a map and got back fine with like ten minutes to spare. ^.^ Now for the outfit.

Steamlita preparation and life

I'm terribly sorry that i had not posted in a few days. I just got the internet working in my dorm and I've been taking outfit pictures. So I've got a lot to post. Me and my roommates went to the mall on wenesday and i bought a few little things.

In more exciting news there is a steampunk exhibit at the mark twain house in October til January. So the Connecticut lolitas have devised a meetup. Now I've been researching steam punk or steam lolita so i could try to make an outfit out of it. I've got a pretty good idea for an outfit, i'll just have to see how it turns out.
I plan to make it more  steam aristocrat then steam lolita. Even if there is a very pretty skirt from bodyline i want. (in red.)

I have a thing for keys. Any kind that i can get my hands on. I like it. Since there's no brown in the outfit i'll just use the more silvery keys. But i hope it'll still look good.

Outfit worn to class on september 5th

I'm sorry the for the quality of this picture. This is the first picture i took with my mirror in my dorm. The skirt 'bustles' around the hem but since i'm sitting you can't see it. It's black and white striped. The shirt is just a plain black shirt. I'm pretty sure i'm wearing my corset under this otherwise i wouldn't be sitting like that.

Sorry this post is mostly rambling and boring. I'll post more interesting things later.
